How to deal with people that annoyingly ask for democracy

As previously seen…

  1. Put a task force on monitoring Facebook and twitter.
  2. Underestimate the power of martyrship.
  3. Bring out the tear gas, water canons and riot police to demonstrations.
  4. Arrest numbers of demonstrators.
  5. Hire snipers, preferably from a country other than your own.
  6. Watch how hundreds of criminals suddenly manage to break out of prison.
  7. Impose a state of emergency if you don’t already have one in place.
  8. Watch the thuggery, how “supporters” materialize from nowhere to bully demonstrators.
  9. Make sure that state media report on demonstrations being instigated by foreign elements/spies.
  10. Give three speeches. Blame “satellite channels”.
  11. Resign on a Friday.

OR

  • Cling to power by all means necessary.
